Mercedes-Benz C-CLASS
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan
The latest edition of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan gives you many of the same design and technology strengths that come in the larger S-Class model that serves as the brand's premier sedan. Every Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan derives its power from the same turbocharged engine that's part of a fuel-efficient hybrid system. Here's high-level look at the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan that's available for a test drive at Dick Dyer Mercedes-Benz in Columbia, SC.
Trim levels
For the latest model year, the new Mercedes-Benz C Class gives buyers from Aiken and Camden SC a total of five trims to choose from: C300 Sedan Premium, C-300 Sedan Exclusive, C300-Sedan Pinnacle, C300 Coupe and C300 Cabriolet.
Design
The new edition of the Mercedes-Benz C Class comes with classic sedan styling and the kind of handsome proportions that Mercedes-Benz can endow in a sports sedan. Inside the cabin you'll find plenty of space in the elegantly-styled digital cockpit. You'll appreciate the clean, streamlined contours that are reflected in every detail of this stylish Mercedes-Benz sedan.
Performance

Every new Mercedes-Benz C Class sedan operates with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that can give you 255 horsepower. The turbo-four is ably assisted by a 48-volt hybrid system that will temporarily give you up to 20 additional horsepower. Rear-wheel drive comes standard and all-wheel drive is an available option. The all-wheel drive C300 4Matic can take you up to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds. Braking performance is solid, bringing the C300 from 70 mph to a full stop in just 154 feet.
Fuel economy

According to the EPA, the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class with rear-wheel drive should give you up to 25 MPG in the city and as much as 36 MPG on highways around Lexington SC. If you move up to all-wheel drive you'll be getting 24 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway.
 Technology

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class operates with the Mercedes-Benz User Experience Infotainment System (MBUX) that includes a standard 11.9-inch touch screen, wireless smartphone connectivity, biometric fingerprint memory settings, a Wi-Fi hotspot and a six-speaker stereo. Other standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry and a sunroof. You can upgrade to wireless device charging, satellite radio, a panoramic sunroof and a premium audio system with 15 speakers.
Safety features

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan comes with standard safety features that include a rear-view camera, automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, rain-sensing windshield wipers and blind-spot monitoring. You can upgrade to adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, rear automatic emergency braking, a surround-view parking camera system, a head-up display and rear cross-traffic alert.
Interior
The latest C-Class sedan comes with the same kind of advanced technology you'd find in the bigger S-Class sedan. Every model comes with touch screen controls and a digital gauge display. Another point of family resemblance is a steering wheel that looks very much like the one in S-Class models. The C-Class includes a number of standard luxury features like open-pore wood trim, heated front seats with memory settings, aluminum accents and a sunroof. The new C-Class is about 2.5 inches longer than the previous model and the wheelbase gives you an extra inch.
